It has been decided by the Panchayat Committee on 13.08.2026 to auction the right to use the site of the demolished public market in Balaramapuram Grama Panchayat as a vehicle parking ground and to collect parking fees. Therefore, the right to collect parking fees (up to 31/03/2027) will be auctioned on 25/09/2026 at 3:00 PM at the Panchayat Hall. Those interested in participating in the auction must deposit an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of Rs. 500 in advance.
Quotation Terms and Conditions
- Persons involved in legal disputes with the Panchayat or those who have defaulted on any dues to the Panchayat will not be allowed to participate.
- The decision of the Panchayat regarding auction procedures will be final.
- Statutory terms and conditions applicable to all other auction / quotation procedures will apply to this auction as well.
- The bidder alone shall be responsible for any damages resulting from actions contrary to the auction / quotation terms and conditions.
- If the auction date falls on a holiday, the auction will be conducted on the next working day.
- The auction will be provisionally confirmed in favor of the highest bidder, and the full auction amount must be remitted on the same day itself.
- Fee collection can commence within 7 days once the auction is approved by the Panchayat.
- Statutory taxes are applicable (GST 18%).
- Under no circumstances should parking fees exceeding the Panchayat Committee's decision be collected.
- The parking area must always be kept clean.
- Fees should only be collected in compliance with the rates and conditions prescribed below as per the Panchayat Committee decision.
Rates:
- Bike / Scooter: ₹5/- per hour
- Auto-rickshaw: ₹10/- per hour
- Car: ₹20/- per hour
- Challenger (Heavy / Large Vehicle): ₹50/- per day
